Canada to USA Border Crossing by Car in 2025: Detroit-Windsor Tunnel Experience
In this video, I document my border crossing from Windsor, Ontario, into Detroit, Michigan via the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. After over two years since my last US Canada border crossing, I was curious to see if anything had changed—and it turns out, a lot has! Unlike my last experience, where my car was scanned and I was held for further investigation, this time around things went much smoother. Border patrol asked a few simple questions and I was quickly on my way. A huge contrast from my last, more intense encounter! Additionally, the toll fee for crossing the tunnel has increased to $7.25 in 2025—a $2 increase from 2022. I also discuss how the process has changed, what you need to know when crossing, and my overall experience as an American citizen using a US passport and state ID. If you’re planning to cross the US-Canada border soon, this video is for you! I share tips and details on what to expect for a smoother, hassle-free experience. Hmong Americans Visit Hmong Tribe in Vietnam - Sapa Travel Vlog
After 8 years, we finally return to Sapa, Vietnam—but this time, with our children. It’s their very first time in Vietnam, and in Southeast Asia—the closest they’ve ever been to the land and traditions of their Hmong heritage. As Hmong Americans, our family roots trace back to Laos, but visiting the Black Hmong tribe in northern Vietnam is like stepping into a living reflection of our shared past. Sapa is a place where time slows down, where traditional clothing, and ancient customs are still part of everyday life. Our children got a rare, firsthand look into Hmong culture—from local food to the art of making clothes, and the powerful connection to the land through trekking the beautiful mountain trails. With the help of our local guide, we visited remote villages and experienced the beauty and simplicity of this incredible place. This journey was emotional, humbling, and unforgettable. We hope this Sapa travel vlog inspires you to explore your roots and connect with the traditions that shape who we are. 📍 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more family adventures and cultural stories. #SapaTravelVlog #HmongVietnam #BlackHmong #TrekkingSapa #HmongCulture #HmongAmerican #FamilyTravel #SoutheastAsia

How a Trip to Malawi Africa Landed Me in the Newspaper!
How I Ended Up in a Newspaper Article in Malawi, Africa 🌍 Visiting Malawi for the first time was an unforgettable experience! Malawi is known for its resilience amidst challenging conditions, and it ranks among the poorest places worldwide. I was invited by a friend who operates a nonprofit, The Grace Foundation, based in Lilongwe, the capital. The foundation works tirelessly to support elders and children in need, and during our visit, my wife, son, and I spent the day alongside their volunteers, getting firsthand insight into the incredible impact they're making. Unbeknownst to us, a local reporter was present during our visit, capturing the foundation’s story. That day was later published in a newspaper article, spreading awareness of The Grace Foundation’s mission within the community. Watch to see our journey, the inspiring people we met, and the story behind this foundation that's making a real difference. 🙏 Support the Cause: To make a donation to The Grace Foundation and contribute to their amazing work, visit www.gracefoundationmalawi.com 🛎️ Don’t forget to Subscribe for more global stories, insights into impactful nonprofits, and travel experiences! #Malawi #TheGraceFoundation #CharityWork #Lilongwe #AfricaTravel #malawitravelvlog

Port Barton, Philippines: Palawan’s Overlooked Gem That Gave Me the Motivation I Needed
After passing up Port Barton on my last two trips to Palawan, I finally made it—and wow, I was missing out! Unlike El Nido, Port Barton instantly captivated me with its peaceful, small-town vibe. It's far less crowded than its famous sibling, giving it a laid-back charm that's hard to find elsewhere in Palawan. Not to mention, it's noticeably cleaner and more relaxed than El Nido. During my stay, we rented a motorbike to explore some beautiful spots like Pamuayan Beach, Pamuayan Waterfall, and Bigaho Waterfalls. I also had the chance to meet some incredible locals, including the wonderful staff at Summer Homes Cottages, who made the experience even more memorable. In this video, I’ll take you through my journey in Port Barton and share why this hidden gem should definitely be on your Palawan itinerary. Don’t make the same mistake I did—don't skip Port Barton! #portbartonpalawan #portbarton #palawanphilippines

It was his first returning since he left as a war refugee in 1975. 42 years after the end of the Secret war. Going off of only memories, he retraces his steps to find his old home. #hmonglaos #hmonginlaos #hmongtravel #hmongamerican #hmong
